Lager on State Budget

The Missouri General Assembly has passed and sent to Governor Jay Nixon a nearly 24 Billion Dollar budget now awaiting his signature.

12th District State Senator Brad Lager of Savannah says the budget includes more money for higher education that what the Governor recommended in January.

The Missouri State budget was passed by both the House andSenate on Thursday. One day ahead of the deadline for having a completed budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
