Illegal Fishing

Four men are arrested after having an illegal fishing tournament at Mozingo Lake.

There is a limit of one tournament per day in order to regulate fees, keep the number of boats on the water safe, and maintain fishing populations. This is the first time arrests have been made for such tournaments at Mozingo. Maryville Public Safety Sergeant Rick Smail says this was a necessary response to the large amount of illegal tournaments occurring.
