Brownville Theatre Opens

The Brownville Village Theatre in Brownville, Nebraska opens its 46th season on June 8th.

This season will feature four plays and one musical, beginning with a farce entitled 'Kindly Leave the Stage'. Director of the Brownville Village Theatre, Dr. Charles Harper, says the flooding the past couple of years kept attendance down, but this promises to be an exciting season for the company.

The Brownville Village Theatre consists of college and university students and graduates who oversee all the technical aspects as well as acting in the productions. Reservations are recommended and tickets are available at the box office, open 9 to 11:30 am and 1 to 5 pm daily.
