The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced that Sand Creek Bridge is open again.
The Bridge, on Nodaway County Missouri 113 has been closed since April second as part of a Bridge replacement project. The Bridge was replaced under the Missouri Safe and Sound Bridge Program which will improve or replace 190 Bridges in northwest Missouri by the end of the year. This is the 18th Bridge off 21 in Nodaway County to be completed. The next bridge to close will be the Route V-V Long Branch Bridge located one-half mile est of Route N, starting Monday May 14th. That bridge will be closed for six to eight weeks during replacement. For more information call 1 888 ask MO DOT.
