The University of Missouri Extension is hosting a conference this June for women in agriculture.

The Extension office is hosting an AG risk management conference called The Women in Boots and Blue Jeans at the Northwest Technical School on June 20. The conference is for farm women to network and learn from some of the top professionals in Missouri agriculture. AG Business Specialist of Nodaway County CPD with the University fo Missouri Extension Randa Doty says more women are becoming involved in agriculture and the conference provides valuable information many farm women need to know.

The Women in Boots and Blue Jeans Conference is an interactive television conference including a unique estate planning presentation called "Grandma's Yellow Pie Plate." Doty says this is a great indication of what technology can do to bring this information to rural areas.
