April 17, 2012UNION COUNTY, IA | By: Wayman
North Missouri's power company workers are on the ground to help IOwa residents trying to get back to normal after this weekend's devastating storms.
Kansas City Power and Light says it's sent about 50 crew members to help Mid American Energy based in Des Moines with the power problems. Thousands in Des Moines, Union, and Freemont counties were left without power after poles were snapped and lines downed during tornadic cells that swept the region Saturday night. KCP&L says Linemen, safety employees, and supervisors are all helping to get power back to normal.
