Rural Post Offices

US Senators continue debating a bill to cut postal service expenses and the future of several of our small town post offices.

Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill has introduced an amendment that would freeze any rural post office closures for 2 years while other reforms were put into place. McCaskill says closing rural post offices won't solve the financial debt the postal service is in.
