April 2, 2012NODAWAY COUNTY, MO |  By: Mullens

Two resurfacing projects continue in Nodaway County after work begin last week.

Paving on Route VV will begin today and will take about a week to complete, then crews will move to Route H. During this work the roads will be narrowed to one lane. There will also be maintenance crews replacing culverts on Route A-B starting tomorrow. That road will be closed each day from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Route UU will be closed today from County Road 400 and County Road 415 for a culvert replacement. Also the Missouri Department of Transportation's spring pavement striping program has begun and some drivers may notice slower moving traffic. MoDOT's goal is to have all of the striping done on major roads by memorial day. All road work is weather permitting.
