National Honor

32 agriculture students competing in a national ag contest take the top prize.

The Northwest Missouri State group placed among the top 3 teams in the nation in 9 categories, but as a whole won the Sweepstakes award for the highest point total. Contributing to that were 12 top-5 overall finishes among nearly a thousand national contestants. The north American colleges and teachers of agriculture contest was held in Coffeyville Kansas.
