A hundred year birthday celebration is planned in Maryville tomorrow.

The Beaux Arts Public Library building hits the century mark this year, after being built in 1912 as the city's post office. Librarian Stephanie Patterson says several events are scheduled this week to honor the accomplishment.

A ceremony celebrating the Maryville Public Library Building is tomorrow morning at 10. Other events this week include the preschool story hour, book sale, and displays on the history of the library.
