Grocery Store Sentence

A Bethany man gets 16 years in federal prison with no parole for robbing grocery stores.

Jeremiah Kraushaar admitted he used a gun to rob 5 grocery stores in Bethany and the Kansas City area. He and several co-conspirators also used plastic zip-ties to bind victims hands. Kraushaar and others were arrested after surveillance video from a 2010 robbery was released an anonymous tip helped investigators catch the defendants in December of that year.
