Gentry County

Gentry County voters approved both Howard Township Road levies for $0.35 and $0.30, the Higgins Township Levy passed, and both Wilson Township levies for $0.35 and $0.30.

Also approved was the Athens Township question to continue $0.25 tax levy for road and bridge maintenance, the Jackson Township Levy passed, and the Cooper Township question for $0.15 levy for roads and bridges. The voters also approved both Bogel Township question for a $0.35 and $0.32 renewal for the next 4 years. Gentry County voters also approved the Stanberry sewer bonds question to issue 5.1 million dollars in bonds for upgrades to the sewer system Albany south ward alderman will be Manley Tillison. Duane Williams and Jody Novak will be serving for Gentry County School District 3. The mayor for Stanberry is Charles Lawson, and the mayor for Albany is Wendy Preston.
