Chillicothe Burglary Arrests

4 people are in jail and authorities are looking for a 5th after that house burglary this week near Chillicothe.

Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox says some the suspects were discovered inside a house at 140 Marshall Street in Chula; Others picked up in various locations in Chillicothe. This stems from a burglary on Route V just outside of Chillicothe in which a relative entered the house and surprised burglars inside. Shots were reportedly fired by at least one of suspects but the relative escaped. Sheriff Steve Cox says 3 of the suspects, Jeremiah and Jeremy Orona of Chula and Jeffery Stevens of Chillicothe, have allegedly confessed to being involved. Stevens was released from state prison shortly before Christmas. A 4th suspect, Jennifer McMullin, listed as homeless, is also in jail. All are being held on a quarter million dollars bond each and face charges of burglary and armed criminal action. The sheriff says they are still looking for 31 year old Jessie Christopher Perez in connection with the burglary, which sheriff Cox says was one of several homes being targeted. He says the arrests could help clear up other crimes in the area.
