Allergy Season

You might have noticed extra sniffles and sneezes now that spring has sprung.

Allergy season is in full force, with oak pollen measuring high for our region. Nodaway County Health Department nurse Tabitha Frank says pollen counts are especially high in the early mornings. She says there are some things you can do to help prevent the reactions.

Frank adds over the counter drugs may help, but if the symptoms are severe, it's best to see your doctor.
