Weather Spotter Training

The National Weather Service will hold a open class for weather spotter training.

The class is open to anyone interested in learning how to spot severe weather. Instructors will show there are 3 main types of thunderstorms people will get to know and where to look in the clouds for severe weather. Warning coordination meteorologist for Pleasant Hill Andy Bailey says having spotters is important to fully know what is happening with the weather.
