Street Repairs

This winter has been relatively mild for weather and for damage to city streets.

Maryville officials plan to overlay 8,000 linear feet of streets during the warmer construction season. The city's street department supervisor this week is driving around to determine which areas are in need of immediate attention. Maryville Public Works director C.E. Goodall says projects for street repair and maintenance hinge on the sales taxes collected.

Goodall adds the streets that don't get the overlay will be patched as soon as needed.
