March 5, 2012TRENTON, MO | By: Wayman
A group that the community college in Trenton belongs to is teaming up with the federal US Department of Agriculture to increase work skills of regional residents.
North Central Missouri College is a member of the American Association of Community Colleges, that organization inked the memorandum of understanding with the USDA on Friday. In it, partnering colleges plan on focusing on job training and educational opportunities for rural residents. North Central continues to develop the 130 acre Barton campus on the outskirts of Trenton, providing practical and hands-on opportunities for those studying agriculture and mirroring the goals of the agreement with the US AG Department.
