Rural Crime Summit

Buchanan County Sheriff's Department invites community members to learn how to better protect themselves.

The second rural crime summit will be Wednesday morning at 8 until one in the afternoon. The rural crime summit is a class taught by Buchanan County Sheriffs Officers to help educate citizens on preventing crimes. Residents will be learning the latest crime prevention information along with other issues. Deputy Amanda Chen says the program is beneficial to the local community.
