Optimist Winners

A Maryville winner has been chosen to go to the next level of competition in the youth optimist's essay contest.

The Maryville optimist club judged essays from 5 entries and chose Kindol Gregg as the first place winner. She will be moving to the district level competition in the international essay contest. Second Place in Maryville is Sidney Schenkel and third place is Shelby Golightly. The theme of this year's contest was "How my positive outlook benefits my community".
