Horace Mann Future

The Horace Mann Lab School at the university in Maryville is moving forward.

Officials held an informational meeting for parents this week, explaining the changes in the face of state budget cuts to Northwest Missouri State. Those include creating a half time director and half time faculty position, increasing tuition to $1,300 per student with a 20% discount on each additional child per family, and eliminating the summer program. Dr. Joyce Peveral is the dean overseeing the re-structuring at Horace Mann and says another change is how long the students will be in school.
