Horace Mann Administrator

The new director at the Horace Mann Laboratory School is named.

Jill Baker will be the lead administrator for the upcoming school year. A former teacher at St. Gregory's School in Maryville, North Nodaway Elementary in Pickering, and Joe Mathias Elementary in Rogers Arkansas, Baker has also served as an adjunct instructor at Northwest Missouri State, which owns the lab school that also serves as a training ground for education students. The naming of the new director comes among several changes for the private school, which has been hit by state budget cuts. As part of those changes, Baker will also be an instructor at the university's department of professional education while serving as Horace Mann's lead administrator.
