Gardening Season

The mild winter and summer-like temperatures have many in our region getting excited about the upcoming gardening season.

Despite lower than average moisture the past few months, gardeners are getting their plots ready. Extension horticulturist for northwest Missouri Tom Fowler says prep work should have been done last fall. He says now clearing debris from the seed bed and opening the soil are important.
