After more than a year of displacement, the sisters at the Clyde, Missouri monastery have moved back into their main house as the sacred stones, sacred stories renovation project entered its final stages.
The project included the deconstruction of part of the main building to decrease the amount of unused space, adding a one-level handicapped accessible entry for guests, as well as new facilities. Director of communication for the Benedictine sisters Kelley Baldwin explains the reason for renovating the monastery.
