St. Joseph Polar Plunge

This weekend is the St. Joseph Polar Plunge for Special Olympics.

The plunge will take place at Lake Contrary in St. Joseph. Each plunger will get a T-shirt and lunch will be provided. Each participant must raise $75 that will be donated to the Special Olympics. 7 year volunteer Elizabeth Christie says the money raised helps the athletes all long.

The plunge is this Saturday, registration begins at noon, the parade of athletes will begin at one with the plunge following that.
