Skywarn Spotter Classes

The National Weather Service is beginning its skywarn spotter talks around the region this spring.

Tonight at 7 the first will be held in Atchison Kansas at the elementary school cafeteria. Next week classes are scheduled on Tuesday at Chillicothe's Calvary Baptist Church and Wednesday night in Cameron. The chief meteorologist Andy Bailey near Kansas City says they cover a variety of topics will be covered.

Spotter talks are also set for Maryville and St. Joseph in March. A complete list of storm spotter talks and their locations is on the National Weather Service website at Pleasant Hill Missouri.
