Lockdown Lifted

Schools are back open in Cameron after a threat called in prompted a lockdown of the district.

Cameron police say they received a credible threat against one of the district's buildings and after notifying administrators, a lockdown was put in place. School officials say it was to keep everyone safe. That situation was lifted about 10 O'clock this morning. Normal schedules are back in place. One person is in custody but few details on the suspect are being released at this time.
