Four Chaplains Day

The 4th District of the Missouri American Legion will present the "Ceremony of the 4 Chaplains" at 1:30 this Sunday at the American Legion Building in Conception Junction, Missouri.

This event, conducted by American Legion Posts across the nation, is in honor of four soldiers aboard the Dorchester in World War 2 who helped others boards lifeboats after a torpedo attacked the ship. Legion member Don Parker talks about the importance of the ceremony.

Those who attend are asked to be seated by 1:15. In a case of inclement weather the ceremony will be held the following Sunday, February 12th.
