There will be a forage management meeting this Wednesday, Febraury 22 at Clasbey Center in Savannah.
Dr. Justin Sexten will be speaking about a grant project that will allow farmers to go out and measure their forages with new form of technology. Live stock Specialist for the University of Missouri Jim Humphrey explains how the unit uses sonar to help measure the forages.
This technology will be used to help better manage the forages in our area. The meeting again is at the Clasbey Center in Savannah this Wednesday and is open to anyone.
