Emergency Director Resigning

Atchison county Kansas is looking for a new emergency preparedness director.

Lori Chew says she's stepping down later this month. Chew has been with the county for 10 years, working with the sheriff's office before working as an administrative assistant and taking the emergency preparedness director position a little more than a year ago. Chew says besides being Atchison's noxious weed director and first responder director, she thinks she will miss the emergency preparedness the most.
