Feb. 7, 2012ST. JOSEPH, MO | By: Wayman
The family of a St. Joseph teen who died after being hit by a school bus has settled for 5 million dollars.
Mason Adams was near Lafayette High School when he was hit by the school bus and died in November of 2010. The driver served time and probation. Adams' mother, Bridgett Blasi, reached the settlement with first student, the operator of the school bus. Prosecutors say the bus company failed to clean the windows properly before the bus struck the student.
