Albany School Board

The Albany Elementary School received the Energy Star Award at their school board meeting last night.

The award is given by the environmental protection agency to schools that meet certain requirements for their building. Also the board approved a co-op agreement for wrestling at the high school with Worth county. Superintendent Bryan Prewitt talks about how they are able to have Worth county join their wrestling team.

A memorial bench was also approved by the board. The Albany High School's senior class decided to make their senior gift a memorial bench in honor of two staff members  Lin Ericson, and Jack Meyers who passed away earlier this school year.
