Jan. 31, 2012ST. JOSEPH, MO | By: Wayman
Extradition is underway for the suspect in a St. Joseph death, but now investigators are asking for the public's help finding a witness in the case.
Kecia King died of head trauma a day after she was found lying next to I-29 in St. Joseph. A truck driver has been charged in the case and could appear in a Buchanan County Courtroom this week. But now the Highway Patrol says a driver on Messanie Street near where King was found on I-29 below the overpass called into the patrol the night of January 21st. Investigators want to ask more questions of that driver, and the call is going out for the witness to call the patrol again, as the investigation continues.
