Recycling Award

The community-campus recycling partnership in Maryville gets state recognition.

The annual recycling award from the Missouri State Recycling Program was recently given to Northwest Missouri State. 3 recycling drop-off points in the city and a collection center on campus is taking in paper, glass and plastic bottles, and even food scraps from campus dining halls. Since the partnership started last year more than 255 tons of waste from the community and campus have been recycled.
