Several new state troopers will be patrolling north Missouri highways this new year.
A recent graduation at the patrol's law enforcement academy has created 4 freshmen troopers. They are Thomas Black, who is assigned to Buchanan and Andrew counties, Stephen Cool assigned to Clinton and Caldwell counties, John Cunningham patrolling Carroll county and Lucas Lowe, who will be stationed in Grundy, Mercer, and Livingston counties. They are among a class of 30 new highway patrol men and women to graduate from the academy, with former northwest Missouri judge and now Missouri Supreme Court justice Zel Fisher administering the oath of office for the new troopers.
