Lager on Disaster Funding

Savannah senator Brad Lager says lawmakers are already looking at a tight budget, but this time with the extra burden of disaster payments.

Both the flooding on the Missouri River and the Joplin Tornado has created billions in costs. Lager says the state role in paying for them will loom over budget discussions in Jefferson City.
