Some Missouri residents will soon be seeing a drop in their fuel and purchased power adjustment charge, or FAC, on their electric bills.
Union Electric Company filed a request to lower their costs to the Missouri Public Service Commission. The request has now been approved. Residents will see a drop of about 15% on their FAC charge, which is based on their kilowatt hour usage for the month. Union electric stated the adjustment comes after changes in fuel and purchased power costs from June to September of last year. The drop will be reflected in bills issued after January 25th.
