Attendance Rates

The Mound City R-2 School Board is pleased with the results of several evaluations.

At the recent meeting board members learned drop out rates were down from the set goal of 2% to 1.3%. The districts attendance rate was 95.8%, the district has a goal of 96%. Mound City School District superintendent Ken Eaton says even though the district is happy with the attendance rates there is still room for improvement.

Eaton adds the board will go over strategies to improve attendance. The Mound City R-2 School Board next meets February 15th at 12:30 in the afternoon.
