Dec. 16, 2011TRENTON, MO | By: Harris
The Trenton City Council met this week.
Among the items discussed was a demolition grant through the community development block grant. A report by the Green Hills Regional planning committee listed a certain commercial piece of property in Trenton as being unstable. However, before demolition could be completed, the Department of Natural Resources demanded more paint testing be conducted to measure toxicity levels. The council also passed Bill 39, an ordinance authorizing a general election to be held in the city of Trenton on Tuesday April 3. Those elections will be used to fill the councilmen position for the city.
