Funeral arrangements are set for that Atchison Kansas police officer killed in the line of duty Friday afternoon.

Sergeant David Enzbrenner was shot and killed while serving a warrant in Atchison. The suspect then killed himself. Enzbrenner was a 24 year veteran on the Atchison Police Force. Visitation will be Wednesday night from 6 to 9 at the United Methodist Church there, with his memorial service set for Thursday morning at 11 at the Benedictine College Gymnasium. At a community Vigil held this weekend, Atchison Police chief Mike Wilson was emotional as he thanked the public for their support.

Enzbrenner leaves behind a wife and 3 daughters. He is the first Atchison police officer killed in the line of duty in 112 years.
