Missouri Leadership Vote

The freshman senator from Missouri is in the center of an important election this week.

Roy Blunt is one of two candidates within the US Senate running for vice chair of the Republican conference. A vote is scheduled for tomorrow. Blunt spent years in the House of Representatives before being elected to the senate. He says if his colleagues elect him vice chair, he will leverage his experience to get the house and senate working together, something he says probably won't happen until after the presidential election.
