Dec. 12, 2011CHILLICOTHE, MO | By: Harris
The Missouri Farm Bureau was busy during it's 97th annual meeting last weekend at Lake of the Ozarks.
Brian Marshall of Maysville Missouri was appointed chairman of the young farmers and ranchers committee, and Aaron Kerr of Chillicothe was selected by a panel of judges as a 2012 Missouri Farm Bureau ambassador. The ambassador program selects students between 17 and 22 years of age. Each ambassador receives a $1,250 scholarship and travels to Washington, D.C. for a legislative trip. Kerr was selected from a field of 29 contestants.
