Cline in Hall of Fame

A long-time agriculture leader has been inducted posthumously into the Nodaway County Agricultural Hall of Fame.

The late Claude Cline was born in 1915 in Pickering and graduated high school there. He then used technology like milking machines and center pivot irrigation to expand his operations to a thousand acres. He also served on the Pickering School Board and other civic organizations. Cline died in 1987 but the extension council in Nodaway county has now inducted him into the Hall of Fame, signifying his significant contributions to farming in the region.
