Basketball Player Death

Benedictine College in Atchison is mouring the loss of one of it's basketball players after a car accident yesterday morning.

College officials say RJ Demps died when he and another basketball player, Quaran Johnson were on their way to the Kansas City Airport to leave for Christmas. The accident happened on Highway 45 near Weston Missouri. Demps was a sophomore guard for the Raves and from Aurora, Colorado. Johnson is a senior from Philadelphia, he suffered minor injuries. Benedictine head coach Ryan Moody says his team is taking the news hour by hour.
