Air Guard Pulling Out

The Missouri Air National Guard is standing down all flood-related operations in Buchanan County.

The Sheriff's Department there tells us all federal, state, and county roads are open after some were underwater a few months ago because of the flooding Missouri River. Authorities say a few local roads are still damaged, but usable. The Missouri Air National Guard has been patrolling the flood-prone areas for months, but are calling their mission completed as of 11 O'clock last night. The Buchanan County Sheriff's Office says it will continue to post deputies in the most heavily impacted residential areas.
