The results of a recent Missouri State Highway Patrol operation have been released to the public.
Captain Duane Robinson, commanding officer of Troop H in St. Joseph, said there were two 12-hour operations conducted over a 20-mile radius. The purpose, to maximize visibility, reduce traffic violations, and lower the number of traffic crashes. Authorities issued 109 tickets and 143 warnings, including two felony arrests two misdemeanor drug arrests, and one DWI. The operation included stretches of I-35 and Highways 36, 65, 71, 136, and 169.
