Swim Class

Today is the last day to register for a swimming pretest in order to enroll in the Red Cross Water Safety instructor class in St. Joseph.

The St. Joseph YWCA is offering the class from November 7th until November 17th. The certification earned at the completion of the class is required to teach Red Cross swimming lessons, and classes can be difficult to find in this area. Natalie Snead, the aquatic manager at the St. Joseph YWCA, says participants can use the certification at the YWCA or at the summer swimming pool.
