Second Grain Fraud Plea

A second owner of the Gallatin Grain Company pleads guilty to federal charges.

Pauline Froman admitted her part in a scheme that defrauded more than 3 million dollars from north Missouri grain producers. The 66 year old is the wife of Daniel Froman, who plead guilty to similar federal charges in the scheme last month. The husband and wife owned the gallatin grain company business, which collapsed when state investigators found they'd been selling other producer's grain to pay off debts. Pauline faces up to 5 years in prison, her husband 20 years without parole. They both are awaiting sentencing in the federal case.
