Hundreds of homeowners across northwest Missouri are in a race to get their roofs repaired before the first snow of the season hits.
Several thousand homes were damaged in August as hail and 90 mile per hour winds blew off shingles and damaged roofs. Jason Brown is a contractor in Maryville and says shingles are not the only concern as winter weather approaches.Brown says the summer storm has created a backlog and finding local experienced workers has been tough.
