Maryville is seeing a flurry of new business openings as 2011 draws to a close.

Tomorrow the chamber is holding a ribbon cutting for Adam's auto repair, a new business opened by Adam Dennis. The franchise My Favorite Muffin has opened in Maryville, a new Mexican restaurant is being planned for the downtown district, and a new Chinese buffet is planned to open in the South Main Corridor in Maryville. Nodaway county economic development executive director Lee Langerock says any business opening is good for the entire community.
