Montee Arrests

Three children of a lieutenant governor candidate with St. Joseph ties are arrested.

Susan Montee's daughter and two sons all face charges after police broke up a bar fight about 1:15 in the morning at 5th and Felix in St. Joseph. Police spokesman Kevin Castle says 25 year old Amanda, 23 year old Andrew, and 22 year old Austin were among about 30 people involved in the disturbance which spilled out into the street.

The three face municipal charges ranging from disorderly conduct to resisting or interfering with an arrest. Andrew is listed on a recent media release as a contact for Susan Montee's campaign for lieutenant governor. She also is the former chair of the Missouri Democratic Party and former state auditor.
